Thank you for this! When I read about the show "queer-baiting," it seems like bitter fans getting all hurt because they're not getting what they want on the show and SOMEBODY IS DOING THIS DELIBERATELY. For God's sake. As you say, the real-life struggles are important and this stuff is just...well, I wish it didn't exist.
