Would you believe everything is up in the air again? My husband's grandmother fell Tuesday and broke her hip, her pelvis and her arm. She's 98 and has advanced Alzheimer's, so there's real doubt that she's going to recover this time (this is the second time she's broken her hip). So I'm holding off on buying anything else in case he has to fly to New Jersey--we can really only afford one or the other, and obviously his trip is more important.
But thanks for the heads up, I'll keep an eye on the Creation auction just in case.

Just wanted to let you know--Gran's injuries turned out to be much less extensive than the doctors originally thought. She's one tough lady! However, I'm beginning to feel like this trip is cursed or something, 'cause the person I was getting my gold ticket from has decided she is going to the con after all. Not that I can blame her, but now I'm stuck without a ticket grrr.
I'm keeping an eye on ebay and on Creation's site. Hopefully I can pick up something there.

Thanks, I was hoping the bidding would stay reasonable for the J2 q&a and not get crazy like Vancouver. I figure we only have another year of cons so I might as well enjoy it all while I can. :)
Glad to hear that grandma will be ok and that you're still coming. Creation has plenty of tickets and hardly anybody is bidding. I considered going for front row but didn't want to be stuck with an extra gold ticket. That's too much money to waste. I'm in seat D9 but have no idea on breakfast table. Hopefully I'm not in the back.
I'm staying with Karen for the weekend. Flying in Thursday evening and I hope to get to the beach for a bit Friday morning. There is a trolley that will bring you for like $2. If you're in LA than you should come with.

I'm currently bidding on seat d11 :) I'm planning to fly in on Friday--I normally do Thursday but because this trip is so last minute, I'm trying to conserve where I can (which sucks lol). Vancouver, though, I'm going all out!
